For the past 2 months every time I play online the game never completes until the end and we are disconnected.

This AI can’t even win by cheating! So you get blotted, 6 out 10 times you roll to get back on the board is either double 6’s, doubles that are blocked or just plain blocked out. You’re getting ahead and the AI will roll doubles in its favor to get all dice home. I’ve seen the AI get doubles 4/7 rolls. You used to be able to adjust the aggression or passiveness of the AI. That was the only way to loose fairly. The only reason I keep playing is because in the long run you get more wins than losses. I would prefer to loose games because I deserve to loose them. TIP. You can leave stones open in home with opponent on the bar and most of his rolls will not hit you.

Game plays well, but after paying for the game the ads comes after every other turn. Some ads are so glitchy that you have to exit the game to close them even after waiting several minutes.

The new update changed the game and ruin this app for me

Played for a long time with no issues. Updated last week and now scoring doesn’t work properly and game freezes randomly. Still gets 3 stars for lack of ads! Please fix this great game.

the algorithm rolls the dice based on what you are playing. it is not unbiased. total waste of time

I played an earlier version which had Acey Ducey as one of its games and LOVED IT,BUT YOU “updated “ it, claiming to have 18 games. It doesn’t work and I can’t play an Acey Ducey game anymore. I hate this updated version. Can I go back to the earlier version?? Bet you won’t answer, and probably never even read these reviews. Goodbye, I’m deleting this app.

This app was tolerable until whatever you did to it today. Now it’s more clunky and less user friendly. The stats are f-ed up and it’s not worth the effort. It was only tolerable because this game is hard to find. I’ll set my case and stones up and play against myself, it’ll be less glitchy.👎

Relaxing and fun.

Believe all the criticism about statistically improbable AI rolls. The only true way to get a decent and fair AI challenger is to have the user input the computer’s rolls using real dice. I’m all for a challenge, but when each of my pieces that are exposed are pretty much hit instantly, well what’s the point. The creators can swear up and down that a third party generates the rolls, but see for yourself.

This game bites. The dice are fixed and there’s no doubling cube. Like something a high school student did for a project.

We only ask for something that’s reasonably fair. Even though One knows the only place that is fair is where One gets cotton candy. Do you think that these days generators are even close to being even then you need to quit sniffing that stuff up your nose. Because you’re absolutely insane. I play with regular dice in my dice do not give 100% strike rates to my opponent. The only reason I play this is so that I can beat the cheat. When I can beat the Chiefs then I must be decent. For those of you who played it for years and love it. Good luck to you.

Changing the settings made a big difference for me, occasionally I feel the computer manipulates the dice in its favor but then it could be said it favors me. Either way I enjoy the game best one out there for acey duecy which is what I enjoy.

I would prefer no running time clock when hurry mode is off

My game will not clear even when I try to surrender or start a new game. My friend has same issue. Love game - so disappointed I can no longer play!

I’ll play several games, play a different game and return and it starts all over again - I don’t understand why it won’t let me play on till someone wins 15 games. I enjoy playing but would like to continue, instead of starting all over again. 😒

Whoever wrote the program for Acey Deucy doesn’t really understand long strategy. The computer plays it like it’s a backgammon game. There’s no sense of building a board… Creating a block no planning the computer stupidly moves. It’s men across-the-board, without any chance of covering them up. And it seems no matter the circumstances, it automatically takes double sixes no matter what the board looks like. So this game is not challenging at all. I have tried to find other players, but the app shuts down every time I click the find button. My father is 97 years old and is still a master at this game. But I wouldn’t download it for him because playing the computer would be a waste of his time. I was hoping to play him online, but the app doesn’t allow for it. Please advise how to fix this.

Like many other online computer dice games this one suddenly is able to get perfect rolls at the end of the game.

I like the variety of games, I would like it better if on the 2 player mode I could play with my roommate.

I love Acey-Deucy but this app is rigged in favor of the AI. The only thing random about this app is your rolls of the dice. The AI in this app will ALWAYS roll exactly what it needs to roll EVERY time. If the AI needs an ace- deuce it rolls it, if it needs a very specific roll of the dice it rolls it. Good luck trying to win a game of backgammon.

I got this app to try to play with a friend in Italy (I’m in New York), but there’s too much broken with this game to even get started — at least on iPad with iOS 15.1.1. Sign-in hangs. Pressing the invite code generation button yields no UI erect beyond the button’s own animation. So, too, with the rest of the buttons on the multiplayer > online screen — except the Back button. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Really fast and dice seem fair

I love Acey Deucy. This game follows the rules better than another app I’ve used. However, it is very frustrating that the games are set to impact the outcome. At the very ens, especially, perfect rolls fall EVERY TIME to allow the opponent to win. I have no problem with losing, but don’t manipulate the roll of the dice. Let us have a fair game.

Paid for the app and still getting the ads. What is that all about?

Game is difficult to play on anything smaller than a tablet, touch is off. If you don’t have “I’m Done” enabled, the computer automatically takes its turn and 8 out of 10 times your last move will have been wrong, because touch is off (needs to be recalibrated or something), and there is no “undo” once computer takes its turn. The game also cheats, a lot. It always rolls what it needs, especially at the end. It will roll doubles and doubles. There are much better backgammon out there.

I have been enjoying this game for some time, and agree with other reviewers that if anything, the game was sometimes too easy and accepted doubling when they shouldn’t have done so. However, they just posted an update about a week ago, and have now gone too far the other way...the computer is now having “perfect” rolls time after time (that defy all odds) and multiple double rolls such that the randomness is gone. Please adjust to make it more middle of the road, otherwise I will be deleting and looking for an alternate.

Been enjoying this game for about a year. Then yesterday it froze and I could do nothing so I deleted and reinstalled. It works well now.

It’s fast way to kill time if you are bored or waiting in line for something. Enjoying it every day.

This app has stopped working on both my iPhone and iPad!

Love this game- play backgammon and acey-deucey every day. However latest update I can’t play- rolls the dice to see who goes first then the dice disappear and game freezes 🙁

Last update broke game on iPad Air Pro Gen 3 using iOS 14.4. Uninstalled and reinstalled and it got worse. No dice to roll. Please fix.

I have loved this game. I especially like how the dice roll.themselves without having to click on them.i also think it's more fair (less"fixed") than other games. The changes made yesterday made it so my game freezes when it opens. I'm thinking this is a temporary bug and I will check back to see if it was fixed.

I don’t want to win OR lose because of rigged games; I just want a fair game!

I’ve never rated an app before... that’s how badly rigged this app is. No matter how close you are to winning the dice will magically roll the perfect number for the computer to come back and beat you. This app doesn’t even pretend to make it a fair match.

It is enjoyable! I have been playing since 1970’s. Fun fun fun!

It is TOO easy to win.

It keeps track of just one game at a time and and doesn’t keep record of gammons or backgammons

If I purchase the game does it save scores? Is there any plan to add the # of Acey-Duecy’s each person had per game like it does with doubles?

I love this AP. Been using it for three years. Many of those who are complaining are obviously not utilizing the options. You can play the Rush Mode for faster games from 4 to 7 seconds, you can increase the AI options to be more or less aggressive, and you can opt out of ads for a low cost. Hey, it’s a free AP, what do you expect? There are more options regarding how and with whom you play, but I have not used all yet, so can’t comment on those options. I just play with AI. And I like the daily game which has four different versions just for variety and, if nothing else, I do those every day. Also, it’s a plus to have variable speeds so newbies can learn without timing restrictions. The best part for me is that I can be assured that the AI is not making illegal moves and I can concentrate on my own game which is harder when you have to be policing your opponent so they don’t cheat. And newbies learn faster by being not allowed to make illegal moves. They have to figure out why their move is blocked. So, if you hate this AP, stop using it. I love it.

I am an expert self proclaimed anyhow backgammon player. The AI programmer either doesn’t know how to play the game properly or far more likely has rigged the dice against itself, yes that’s right the dice are rigged in your favor. I have played dozens of games and tournaments in this app to give it the benefit of the doubt, however the AI didn’t win even one tournament. I had to try to lose and still couldn’t. The only reasoning behind this is to trick the user into thinking it’s a good app since he the player is winning a lot and will be forced to view maximum amounts of ads. Pitiful foreign non-American app.

This is the one I have been looking for.No waiting for the other dice . I in joy this game. Thank you for designing this board game.

What a disaster and waste of time. Spent an hour getting my sister to download so we could play, but there’s NO WAY to plat together. This is utterly useless. AVOID unless you want to play alone.

Bush league programming. The dice disappeared after several game, then the game pieces disappeared as well. Try again.

I love this game. It’s the ORIGINAL. And, it doesn’t disturb you with the long wait of dice. I love it! It also has many games at the same time.
